Artist's Comments

This necklace began as just the green leather heart and circle, given to me by a friend after his trip to Vietnam. About a year ago I started wearing it, and I've been embellishing it ever since. The Goddess was a gift when I turned 18, the dragon has several symbolic meanings, I've had it since second grade. The necklace is finished now, and I have stopped wearing it, but it has too much of my soul to go on sale.

First in a series, the rest are on sale at [link]

Before I read that you weren't going to sell this one I was shocked to see the dragon. All makes sense now though! So which one is he? (I can only remember Morgan and Merlin...)

he's Merlin- the first, and my favorite. Morgan was silver, with a green stone, and Martin was gold with purple. I love that you still remember them.
Thanks for all your feedback on the other pieces too- I'd reply to all of them, but I'm lazy, so I'm replying here. I'm feeling a lot brighter and less depressed than I was at 2AM the other night. Things are still tough with the pain though- every day is a struggle. Friends and creations give me distraction from that though, and I'll get by. :)
Thanks for... being my oldest friend, and yet never growing apart.

I'm glad you're feeling better (at least emotionally...)! I really can't tell you how amazing I think it is that despite all of the shit you're going through, you continue to produce beautiful things and not get completely consumed by the negative stuff.

On the friendship note: thank you for being my friend in the dark days of second grade alienation. And perhaps a thanks is due to Merlin too...if I remember correctly, dragons were always a pretty major bonding point!

Oh yes. We had a whole family of dragons, didn't we? and we took care of them, or something, while their parents were away. Or maybe they had really irresponsible parents. I dunno, but it was way cute.

yeah...something like that. I feel bad for not remembering exactly! I think their parents had dies, actually. Little orphaned dragons seem like exactly the sort of thing I would be thinking about back then. Way cute indeed!
